Ms. Smith completed her physician assistant training at Cornell University Medical College and New York Hospital in New York City. An experienced physician assistant, she joined Plastic & Hand Surgical Associates in 1993 after serving as physician assistant in a New York City plastic surgery private practice. Ms. Smith is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants and the Downeast Association of Physician Assistants. She is certified by the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Ms. Brezinski earned her master of medical science from the Yale School of Medicine Physician Associate Program. She received her bachelor of science in molecular cell biology and bachelor of arts in sociology, both magna cum laude, from the University of Connecticut. Sharon joined Plastic & Hand Surgical Associates with physician assistant experience in surgical specialties including plastic surgery, colorectal surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Ms. Greven-Chaousis received her master of science from the University of New England Physician Assistant Program and her bachelor of arts from Brandeis University. She joins Plastic & Hand following seven years as a surgical physician assistant at Central Maine Plastic Surgery/Coastal Plastic Surgery. Sarah was previously a surgical physician assistant at Central Maine Surgical Associates in Lewiston. Sarah is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Surgical Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Plastic Surgical Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physicians Assistants.
Ms. Guinan received her master of science in nursing, family nurse practitioner, from St. Joseph’s College of Maine and her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Southern Maine. Most recently, Suzanne practiced as a family nurse practitioner in women’s health at Women to Women in Yarmouth. Previously, she worked as a registered nurse providing care to surgical patients at Maine Medical Center’s Gibson Pavilion. Her experience also includes working at Maine Center for Cancer Medicine, and at Maine Medical Center as an RN in the medical cardiology department. Suzanne was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in 2014 and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the Maine Nurse Practitioner Association and the Oncology Nursing Society.
