Ms. Leighton has worked with Plastic & Hand patients since 1996. In addition to medical training in radiologic technology, she has a certification in aesthetics and has trained in reconstructive and corrective makeup with David Nicholas International in Boston. Ms. Leighton is a member of the Aesthetic International Association and the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists. She is also a member of the board of directors of the Karsan Corporation, a company that provides education on how to achieve a sun-tanned appearance without exposing skin to the sun's damaging rays.
Heather A. Raftice, LA
Licensed Aesthetician
Ms. Raftice's experience and skills include body treatments, glycolic and lactic acid peels, waxing and customized facials. She also has advanced education in anti-aging skincare treatments from Bioelements. Ms. Raftice is very interested in maintaining and enhancing the health of the skin and optimizing the well-being of every Skin Solutions patient. She is a graduate of Pierre's School of Cosmetology in Portland.
Judy Ann M. Demeule, CST, MPS-C
Certified Micropigmentation Specialist
Ms. Demeule specializes in micropigmentation (semipermanent makeup). Services include: upper and lower eyeliner, lip enhancement, full lip, lip liner, and eyebrows. Her skills also include micropigmentation of the nipple-areola area after breast reconstruction and scar camouflage. Ms. Demeule is a member of and certified by the American Academy of Micropigmentation. Judy is also certified in 3-D lash extension/ enhancements. In addition to her specializations of micropigmentation and lash extension/enhancement, she has worked as a certified surgical technician for Plastic and Hand Surgical Associates since 1995. Ms. Demeule received her surgical technology training from Maine Medical Center School of Surgical Technology and was honored as class valedictorian. Before joining Plastic and Hand Surgical Associates she was a certified surgical technician at Southern Maine Medical Center.
