Patient Coordinator
Plastic & Hand is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our practice as a Patient Coordinator.  This position is responsible for prior authorization approval from insurance companies and the accurate entering of surgical charges daily.  A knowledge of medical terminology, current experience with CPT, ICD-9 and other modifier coding, along with a thorough understanding of insurance benefit and authorization procedures are required.  Certification is not required.  The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to prioritize work assignments and daily demands and to adjust priorities as circumstances require.
