Serious Skin Care

These treatments and anti-aging procedures have become even more popular as people realize how safe and effective they are. The doctors offer both Botox and Juvéderm, and, here at Skin Care Solutions, only board-certified plastic surgeons do the injections. Botox reduces forehead creases and frown lines, and can also provide a "lifting " effect for the brow. Juvéderm, the next-generation hyaluronic filler, instantly smoothes the "parentheses" lines on your face, and lasts up to a year.

Skin Care Solutions aestheticians work closely with the cosmetic surgeons and offer a variety of anti-aging treatments and products. The aestheticians can address scars, sun damage, dehydrated skin, premature aging, rosacea, unwanted hair, pigmentation problems, broken and dilated capillaries and age spots.

A breakthrough treatment, Fraxel improves skin damaged over the years by unavoidable exposure to the sun and air pollution, stress, fatigue and other factors of aging. Benefits include improved texture, tone and pore size, rejuvenating your neck, chest and hands, and erasing unwanted brown spots. IPL photorejuvenation, microdermabrasion and therapeutic facial peels are also included in the treatments offered at Skin Care Solutions from Plastic & Hand.

We also offer enhancements including semipermanent makeup and eyelash extensions. The Skin Solutions team member who specializes in these techniques is a certified surgical technician by training.

State-of-the-Art Cosmetic Surgery

Aesthetic surgery, commonly known as cosmetic surgery, involves procedures that reshape facial and bodily features. Cosmetic surgery is designed to improve a person's appearance and self-confidence.

Expert in cosmetic surgery, Plastic & Hand surgeons spend a substantial part of their day handling surgeries and treatments including face lifts, liposuction, breast augmentation and injectables such as Botox and Juvéderm. They have extensive experience in all aspects of plastic surgery, giving them a deep understanding of anatomy that is invaluable for all cosmetic and anti-aging treatments.

The seven surgeons of Plastic & Hand are members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, indicating that they are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and have completed a combination of at least five years of general surgery with a minimum of two years of plastic surgery training. ASPS-member surgeons operate only in accredited medical facilities and adhere to a strict code of ethics. The only physician you should consider is a surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

These respected surgeons also play a part in the education and training of tomorrow's plastic surgeons. The practice has a long-term teaching relationship with the Lahey Clinic in Massachusetts and, more recently, with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. All of the surgeons in the practice are on the faculty of the University of Vermont College of Medicine.

There is more interest than ever in cosmetic surgery. The physicians of Plastic & Hand carefully screen patients to be sure they're medically stable and thoroughly understand the procedure they're considering.
